We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to join our team at NES Fircroft. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management Systems: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Facilities and Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including IT support, communications, and utilities.
- UKAS Accredited Laboratory: Manage the UKAS accredited laboratory, including the Calibration Manager.
- Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Quality Manager Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Design Personnel: Collaborate with design personnel to ensure products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.
- Liaising with Service Manager: Work with the Service Manager to ensure UKAS accredited services are compliant with specifications and procedures.
- Liaising and Planning Third Party Approval: Liaise and plan with third-party approval of products.
- Reporting to Upper Management: Report to upper management on quality standard issues.
- Communication with Departments: Communicate quality and compliance issues with all departments.
- Developing Quality Control Processes: Develop quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Internal Audits: Plan and undertake internal audits of our management systems and compliant schemes.
- Statistical Reports: Produce statistical reports on quality standards.
- Product Rejection: Reject products that fail quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in managing facilities and operations.
- Experience in managing a UKAS accredited laboratory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
