Mental Health Paralegal - Access to Justice Advocate

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal to join our client's thriving Mental Health Law and Court of Protection teams in North London.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and representation in all aspects of Mental Health Law, including undertaking advocacy and dealing with all types of work in respect of Mental Health Tribunals.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and represent clients in Mental Health Tribunals and other forums
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including social workers and healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law relevant to Mental Health Law
Requirements
  • Strong interest in Mental Health & Mental Capacity Law
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Case Management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to other locations as and when required
Salary

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.
