Job Title: Senior Mental Health Law Specialist

We are excited to be working with a well-established client who is looking for an experienced paralegal to join their thriving Mental Health Law and Court of Protection departments in North London.

About the Role

The candidate will need to share their passion for access to justice and show an interest in this area of law. Membership of the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme and a driving licence would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and representation in all aspects of Mental Health Law, including undertaking advocacy and dealing with all types of work in respect of Mental Health Tribunals.
  • Undertake various tasks as part of our Mental Health Law team, working closely with other colleagues.
Requirements
  • A strong interest in Mental Health & Mental Capacity Law
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Case Management systems
  • Ability to travel to other locations as and when required
  • Driving Licence will be an advantage
  • Local commute essential
Benefits

This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading client in the Mental Health Law sector, with a focus on training and development for paralegals. A salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered.
