Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team in Welshpool.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accounts environment and proficiency in MS Office software packages, including Word and Excel. You will also possess excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Opening daily post received within the Purchase Ledger department
  • Dealing with invoices, entering them onto the system and distributing to relevant departments
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Entering payments to invoices on the system
  • Assisting with reconciliation of statements
  • Adhoc accounts/admin duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office software packages (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, working 37.5 hours per week

Salary:

£11.78 per hour
