Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.Job Scope:The Contracts Manager role focuses on retaining and strengthening a portfolio of strategic customer relationships to drive business growth and development.
As the primary point of contact for key customer matters, escalations, and forward forecasting of requirements, you will lead these initiatives.
You will coordinate activities, leveraging organizational resources to develop and implement operational solutions to achieve desired outcomes.Your responsibilities:Manage the lifecycle of assigned customer contracts, from initiation to renewal or termination.
Ensure contracts are well-organized, documented, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with the internal FLS Sales team to negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring they align with the company's policies, legal requirements, and the customer's needs, as to the strategic relationship and building of value between the parties.Prepare, review, and edit contract documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Identify potential risks and propose necessary modifications for mitigating themConduct appropriate marketplace research relating to assigned Customer portfolios, identifying potential business opportunities and trends not only about the specific customer but also the market and sector impacts and outlook.Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational revenue targets.
Negotiate and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure successful conversion of leads and look to activity promote the innovation, technology, and IP of FLS, whilst enhancing the ESG outcomes for all parties.Utilise core internal capability to develop and implement business development plans, aligned with Customer requirements and FLS capability upon long-term Capital forecasts, Wares, Spares, Consumables, and technology advancementsPromotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activitiesWhat you bring:A bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Mining, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role of business development of industrial equipment based upon strategic relationships.Strong knowledge of commercial negotiations and dealings, including contract laws, regulations, and best practices.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering outstanding service.Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles.Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data.Working knowledge of the resources sector and/or large industrial clienteleWhat we offer:Competitive remuneration package on offer.
