Accounting Role in Welshpool

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts procedures and excellent organizational skills.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and processing daily post, entering invoices onto the system, distributing to relevant departments, and resolving queries. They will also process invoices and credit notes in a timely manner, assist with reconciling statements, and perform ad-hoc accounts/admin duties.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an accounts environment is essential
  • Familiarity with MS Office software packages (Word and Excel) is required
  • A confident telephone manner is necessary

The estimated salary range for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
