About the Role

We are seeking a Learning and Progression Assistant to join our team at PK Education. This exciting opportunity will see you working in a good school in Chesterfield, supporting KS3 and KS4 students with varying degrees of SEN difficulties.

This is an ongoing position that requires the successful candidate to start as soon as possible. As a Learning and Progression Assistant, you will be responsible for developing strategies to improve student outcomes, implementing school policies and procedures, and providing individualised support to students.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience working in a teaching environment with SEN students. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Support KS3 and KS4 students with various degrees of SEN difficulties, providing individualised support and developing strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Implement school policies and procedures at all times, maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications to work in a teaching environment with SEN students.
  • Previous experience providing support and assistance to SEN students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
