Job Role

Polytec Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting a Stores Support Specialist to work in Cambridge. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,500 and excellent benefits.

Key Duties:
  1. Verify the quality of received goods
  2. Process new deliveries into the system
  3. Carry out routine stock checks to ensure accuracy
  4. Support logistics operations, including loading and unloading stock
  5. Transport stock between locations across Cambridge using company vehicles
  6. Use a forklift to move goods and equipment around the facility
Essential Skills:
  1. Outstanding customer service skills
  2. Awareness of customer expectations
  3. Self-motivated, proactive, and patient individual
  4. Exceptional organisational and communication abilities
  5. GCSE level Maths and English qualifications
  6. Familiarity with warehouse management and/or procurement procedures
  7. Experience working with purchase order systems
  8. Basic computer literacy
  9. Knowledge of COSHH regulations
  10. Valid UK manual vehicle driving licence
