Stores Support Specialist

Polytec Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting a Stores Support Specialist to work in Cambridge. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,500 and excellent benefits.
Key Duties:- Verify the quality of received goods
- Process new deliveries into the system
- Carry out routine stock checks to ensure accuracy
- Support logistics operations, including loading and unloading stock
- Transport stock between locations across Cambridge using company vehicles
- Use a forklift to move goods and equipment around the facility
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Awareness of customer expectations
- Self-motivated, proactive, and patient individual
- Exceptional organisational and communication abilities
- GCSE level Maths and English qualifications
- Familiarity with warehouse management and/or procurement procedures
- Experience working with purchase order systems
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Valid UK manual vehicle driving licence
