About Volunteering Waikato's Store Team

We are a group of passionate individuals who are dedicated to supporting families in need by providing quality second-hand uniforms.

We are seeking volunteers to join our store team and help us achieve our mission.

The Role

  • Sort and check donated uniforms to get them ready for distribution
  • Meet and greet customers to provide an excellent shopping experience
  • Keep the shop tidy and organized to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Handle donations and process payments with accuracy

Key Details

  • Duration: The role is flexible and can be undertaken at times that suit you
  • Frequency: Flexible, 2-4 hours per day, 1-3 days per week

Estimated Salary: This is an unpaid role; however, it offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community. You may also gain relevant work experience and skills which could be beneficial in future employment. The estimated value of this role is around $20-$30 per hour based on the tasks and responsibilities involved.
