About the Role

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate paediatric nurse to join our Specialist Care Team. As a Children's Hospice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children who are seriously unwell, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care for children who are staying with us at The Ark and those visiting us for day care
  • Support children in their family homes and in community-settings
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to children and their families
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals

About You

We are looking for an experienced paediatric nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care to children who are seriously unwell. You will have excellent clinical and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Sick Children Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch
  • Relevant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 5 level
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. Mentorship SSSA or equivalent) or willingness to undertake
  • Experience in supporting students on placement as a practice supervisor or practice assessor
