School Support Staff Wanted:

We are recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to work with children who require additional support in schools across South and Central Birmingham. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential.

Your Key Tasks:

  1. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide targeted support to pupils.
  2. Implement personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childhood studies or a relevant teaching assistant course.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students, preferably in a school environment.
  • Additional training in SEN strategies and techniques (e.g., MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach).
