About the Job:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner Primary School in Handsworth, Birmingham. As a key member of the teaching team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEN in small groups or one-to-one, promoting active participation and engagement in the learning process.
- Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students, including teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
- Develop and implement targeted interventions to enhance overall wellbeing and support learning and development.
Requirements:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or at least a year's experience working in a Primary School.
- Experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
