About the Position

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maritime Systems Manager to lead the safety assurance effort for the Dreadnought Class SSBN programme. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in engineering management, risk assessment, and compliance.

The salary range for this position is £55,000-£70,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package. This is a hybrid-working role that requires flexibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the safety assurance effort for the Dreadnought Class SSBN programme
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders, including the Ministry of Defence and BAE Systems
  • Collaborate with the Barrow Safety Assurance Manager on concessions
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in engineering management, risk assessment, and compliance
  • Hold a degree within a STEM subject
