Job Title: Software Developer

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Barrow-in-Furness

Salary Range: £37,750 - £42,500 + excellent benefits

Job Description:

  • Solve complex business problems by converting needs into systems solutions
  • Develop and maintain databases with MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Use software engineering principles to drive development methods
  • Maintain effective relationships between teams
  • Resolve technical issues with applications
  • Ensure smooth incident and problem management

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or relevant experience in a STEM field
  • Programming experience with object-oriented languages
  • System development experience with ITIL knowledge
  • Database design skills with MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Agile development methodologies

Note: This role is open to sole UK Nationals only due to project requirements.
