Job Title: Senior Submarine Safety Expert

About the Role:
At CV Library, we're seeking an exceptional Senior Submarine Safety Expert to join our team of specialists. As a key player in ensuring the safety of submarines and their crews, you'll be responsible for analyzing and mitigating major hazards like fire, explosion, and hazardous atmospheres.

About You:
We're looking for someone with expertise in risk assessments and hazard analysis, who can lead the charge in developing innovative safety strategies. Your work will contribute significantly to critical design reviews and modifications, with opportunities to publish technical papers and shape the future of submarine safety.

Responsibilities:
* Undertake HAZID/HAZAN as required throughout the safety lifecycle.
* Contribute to the design of submarines in concept stages and design modifications of mature and operational submarines to ensure safety from hazards.
* Act as a subject matter expert for hazard safety at various design review meetings and as a design peer reviewer.
* Develop safety case reports for multiple safety cases.
* Undertake risk assessments and ALARP assessments.
* Produce and peer-review technical papers relating to safety analysis.
* Liaise with engineering stakeholders on safety matters.
* Develop, produce, and maintain hazard safety processes and risk management strategies.
