This is a permanent, full-time position based in Kensington, Western Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Recreation and Trails Unit as a Trail Experience Manager. This role will form part of the primary point of contact for public inquiries regarding the management of recreational activities and trails, events, park alerts and support for the day-to-day management of the Bibbulmun Track, Munda Biddi Trail and Cape to Cape Track.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to trail maintenance, events, and park information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of trail-related activities.
  • Work closely with external partners, such as local governments, land managers, and community groups, to promote trail development and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the visitor experience on the Bibbulmun Track, Munda Biddi Trail, and Cape to Cape Track.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as recreation, tourism, or environmental science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in trail management or visitor services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
