About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Scheme Administrator Specialist to join our team at Broadstone. As a key member of our PPF Administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading pension administration provider, where you will be responsible for providing day-to-day administration services to our PPF clients. Your main point of contact will be with allocated PPF clients, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

You will carry out routine administration services for other PPF clients as requested by Senior Administrators, Team Leaders, Pensions Manager, and Pensions Director. This will include maintaining membership records on the administration system, calculating benefits for members, setting up new members on the system, and sorting and filing client documentation.

Your responsibilities will also include entering jobs received onto the work log system, dealing with general queries from members, the PPF, and trustees via phone, email, and letter. You will monitor target due dates to ensure service level agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met for PPF clients.

You will record all PPF client events and time-cost work undertaken for billing purposes, ensuring that all work leaving the team meets a high standard. You will adhere to the Trust-Based Pensions Administration Procedures Manual, PPF technical guides, and procedure notes at all times.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of current pensions legislation
  • High numeracy, accuracy, and literacy skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
