Job Summary

The PPF Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of schemes entering the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) and providing specialist administration services to PPF clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administration services to PPF clients, including maintaining membership records, calculating benefits, and dealing with general queries.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Broadstone, the PPF, and other third parties to ensure the best possible outcome for PPF clients.
  • Monitor target due dates to ensure service level agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met for PPF clients.
  • Record all PPF client events and time cost work undertaken for billing.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work on own as well as a member of a team.
  • Sound understanding of current pensions legislation.
  • Highly numerate, accurate, and literate.
  • Analytical and numerical ability – able to analyse, evaluate and interpret data.

Working with Broadstone

The PPF Administrator will work closely with the Broadstone team to ensure the best possible outcome for PPF clients. This will involve working with colleagues in Broadstone, the PPF, and other third parties to provide specialist administration services to PPF clients.

Technical Knowledge and Professional Qualifications

The PPF Administrator will require a sound understanding of current pensions legislation and a highly numerate, accurate, and literate individual. Analytical and numerical ability – able to analyse, evaluate and interpret data.

  • Achieve a good standard of ethical behaviour, do the right thing at all times.
  • Comply with all relevant professional standards.
  • Comply with the FCA's requirements in relation to the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, Treating Customers Fairly and the new Consumer Duty.
