The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the South Stroke neurological rehabilitation team at NHS Lanarkshire. This team provides occupational therapy and physiotherapy to patients with stroke and neurological conditions across South Lanarkshire.

This is a highly specialist, forward-thinking team that offers a supportive learning environment and strives for excellence in the specialty.

What We're Looking For

  • A registered occupational therapist with valid HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate expertise within the specialty or area of practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty or area of practice
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures associated with the specialty or area of practice
  • Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery
  • Excellent team-working and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
