Substance Misuse Physician Opportunity

Lanarkshire Community Prescribing Service

We are seeking a skilled GP with expertise in substance misuse to join our community-based service providing treatment across Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will provide support and treatment to those presenting with substance use problems within any locality in NHS Lanarkshire.

As part of our enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to developing and delivering a comprehensive care service in Addictions. You will provide skilled assessment, treatment, and care to patients with drug dependency.

Our service has a holistic approach to treatment, comprising of Addictions Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Prescribing Pharmacists, Social Care Workers/Social Workers, Specialist Psychologists, and Specialist Psychiatrists.

We are happy to consider and train a doctor with more limited addictions experience, but with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
