Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team at Autoscan UK Limited, a leading provider of quality assurance and inspection services to the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of production process and facility strategies, guiding the team in translating them into concrete action plans and executing them.
  • Deliver the necessary tools to enable the manufacturing process of our world-leading car models.
  • Evaluate processes and coordinate activities with the team to improve production quality.
  • Develop and standardise work instructions for each production process.
  • Support Cycle Time and line balancing, trials, and training activities for new processes.
  • Schedule team activities to provide manufacturing deliverables that meet required specifications within timescales and budgets as well as other KPIs.
  • Lead/support activities to achieve target quality and dimensional accuracy from sub-assembly to finished vehicle.
  • Lead/support the Manufacturing Engineering Team in creating 2D concepts, layouts, designs for tooling and fixtures, plant installation, assembly cells, manning, etc.
  • Provide input to the Manufacturing Engineering Team to support feasible design solutions regarding manufacturing, assembly, and quality control processes.
  • Assess proposed design/design changes to ensure no production issues related to quality, cost, and delivery. Create a plan for process and facility change and execute it on time for change implementation.
Requirements:

This role requires a degree in a relevant field such as engineering or business administration, along with extensive experience in manufacturing management.
