E-commerce Trading Manager

As an E-commerce Trading Manager at Monsoon, you will be responsible for actively trading the online channel to ensure product availability, site content, and promotion plans are optimized to achieve increased online sales in line with agreed KPIs.

  • Develop and manage relationships with buying teams and merchandisers to maximize range and availability across web and fulfillment from store channels.
  • Liaise with the Digital Marketing and CRM Manager to ensure excellent customer journeys that achieve KPIs and support all SEO activity.
  • Work with the IT and development teams to ensure website updates and onsite functionality improvements are planned and delivered.
  • Input into onsite optimization plans in areas such as search, funnel effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with the Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on key activities, peak periods, ecommerce packaging, returns processing, cancellations, and delivery proposition.
  • Build effective relationships with other functions to operate effectively, such as counterparts in Monsoon, Finance, and Customer Services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a fashion retailer.
  • Google Analytics 4 knowledge or similar.
  • Balance of numerical/analytical skills with an eye for design and creative.
  • Web platform experience, with Salesforce experience being advantageous.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariant testing programs.
  • Team player able to motivate colleagues and drive an agile culture of continuous improvement.
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects in the Ecommerce domain.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to make good decisions and influence others.
  • Demonstrate resilience with a natural curiosity to solve problems and 'get things done'.
