We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Pharmacist to join our team in Adult Mental Health, Addictions and Learning Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to support the management of adult patients with mental health disorders in primary and secondary care.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of pharmaceutical services for patients with mental health disorders and learning disabilities.
  • Lead and provide clinical pharmacy services to identified areas within secondary care that provide mental health, addictions and/or learning disabilities support.
  • Work closely with primary care teams to identify and prioritize key prescribing indicators around the mental health agenda.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Highly specialized clinical pharmacy knowledge and skills.
  • Experience in service development and improvement.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate qualification to Diploma level in Clinical Pharmacy (or demonstrable expert knowledge to that level).
  • Practice Certificate in Pharmacist Independent Prescribing.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (including evidence of CPD).
Working Arrangements

37 hours per week (1 WTE). Participation in weekend and public holiday shifts as required. May be required to work over 7 days and/or an extended working day. A driving licence/car ownership is essential for this role.
