NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our innovative multi-disciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work with individuals referred from court and Justice Services who may be subject to specific legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the ongoing development of innovative models of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and strengths-based approaches within the service.
- Collaborate with the occupational therapy and nursing team leads to provide line management supervision and caseload allocation.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration, with clinical processes for allocation and defining intervention in place weekly.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC Registration are essential requirements.
- Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist within Mental Health Services is required.
- Experience of working within a forensic mental health setting would be beneficial.
- Varied range of clinical experience and ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning and effective caseload management.
- Experience of and evidence of commitment to multidisciplinary team working.
- A mature, responsible, empathic outlook on health and social care delivery that respects people's dignity and human rights.
37 hours per week
Essential RequirementsUK Car licence is essential to this role.
