Tenant Accounting and Property Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tenant Accountant and Property Manager to join our team at People First Personnel.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for tenancy accounting and property management duties, including allocating reservation fees, collecting rent payments, authorising rent payments, charging contractor expenses, processing new tenant files and accurately setting up new tenancy on system, preparation of landlord statements, weekly contractor payment and production of statements, weekly Agent Fee payment and production of statements, deposit transfers and repayments, and retaining Non-resident landlord tax and completing quarterly reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting roles: Allocating reservation fees, collecting rent payments, authorising rent payments, charging contractor expenses, processing new tenant files and accurately setting up new tenancy on system, preparation of landlord statements, weekly contractor payment and production of statements, weekly Agent Fee payment and production of statements, deposit transfers and repayments, and retaining Non-resident landlord tax and completing quarterly reports.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone, are essential for this role.
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • Minimum of two years' experience in client-facing tenancy accounting and property management.
    • Familiarity with Alto accounting software is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £30-40k basic, plus potential to earn commission by selling Rental Protection Insurance. The role is based in our busy Shepherds Bush office, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-18:00. Additionally, we offer a holiday allowance of 20 days plus 8 Bank holidays, Christmas Eve, and 3 Days between Christmas and New Year, as well as a company pension scheme with employer contributions.
