We are seeking an Applications & Field Service Engineer to join our team at Agilent. This is a full-time position with the option to work remotely.

As an Applications & Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing solutions for the full portfolio of Agilent ICP products and addressing customer analytical needs. The role involves working closely with the instrument Sales team, Pre-Sales Application Engineers, and Product Specialists to understand customer expectations and ensure successful transitions of pre-sales development to customers' instrumentation.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in sciences or equivalent working experience, proficient experience with Agilent ICP-MS and ICP-OES hardware and software, and up-to-date knowledge of the latest innovative ICP/MS technology solutions. Additionally, the candidate should be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively, possess excellent presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills, and demonstrate drive, energy, enthusiasm, and a motivated self-starter attitude.

This role includes regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland, averaging 3 overnight stays per week, and occasional international travel. The compensation package includes competitive salary, private healthcare, pension scheme, discounted stock purchase plan, medical and life insurance, and opportunities for career development in an international company.

In this role, you will contribute to exciting projects in a dynamic collaborative team grounded on an agile culture. You will support our ICP customers to increase their return on investment, involved in instrument application problems and/or critical issues using your sophisticated product and application knowledge to achieve desired outcomes.

We offer a permanent contract in a fast-growing global company with work-life balance encouraged. The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
