Estimated Salary Range

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a caseload of learners to deliver GCSE and ad hoc Functional Skills support, tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct initial assessments and diagnostics to understand each learner's starting point and skills development requirements.
  • Teach groups of learners in academies, promoting engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with peers and management to enhance curriculum planning and meet client and awarding body standards.
  • Ensure Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) are completed accurately, incorporating SMART targets and review points.
  • Maintain accurate registers, log teaching and learning samples, and monitor learner attendance and performance.
  • Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression among learners.
  • Timely complete assessments and documentation to meet organisational, awarding body, and funding body requirements.
  • Participate in internal moderation activities and disciplinary action processes as needed.
  • Book Maths examinations for learners on your caseload.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require a qualified and experienced teacher with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a passion for supporting learners achieve their academic goals.
