About the Opportunity


This role represents an exciting chance to combine clinical training in urology with a program of post-doctoral research, providing 50% clinical and 50% academic time at the University of Sheffield.


We are looking for an individual with evidence of academic achievement, holding a PhD or equivalent, and MRCS or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have already gained expertise relevant to urology and be eligible to hold an NTN(A) as part of the South Yorkshire rotation.


Key Responsibilities



  • Undertake a program of post-doctoral research in urology, combining clinical and academic aspects
  • Participate in the clinical urology training program at the University of Sheffield
  • Contribute to the development of research projects and initiatives in urology

Requirements



  • Evidence of academic achievement, including a PhD or equivalent
  • MRCS or equivalent qualification
  • Eligibility to hold an NTN(A) as part of the South Yorkshire rotation
  • Relevant expertise in urology, including both preclinical and clinical areas

Salary Information


The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
