Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steam Raising Plant Technical Manager to join our team at Anglian Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe operation and maintenance of steam and low temperature hot water assets across our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update steam safety management policies to align with health and safety legislation.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of steam assets, ensuring timely planned maintenance and inspections.
  • Manage in-house capital maintenance and projects related to steam, overseeing budget management and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for steam-related incidents, ensuring proper reporting and investigation.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of steam-related health and safety regulations (PSSR, INDG436, PUWER, BG01).
  • Qualified and proven Steam and boiler operations experience with a background in engineering.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team development.
  • Technical expertise in steam systems, maintenance practices, and safety management.
