Steam and Technical Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steam and Technical Operations Manager to join our team at Anglian Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe operation and maintenance of steam and low temperature hot water assets across our region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement steam safety management policies to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of steam assets, ensuring timely planned maintenance and inspections.
- Manage in-house capital maintenance and projects related to steam, overseeing budget management and compliance.
- Serve as the primary contact for steam-related incidents, ensuring proper reporting and investigation.
- Manage framework contractors, investigating significant incidents and conducting annual health and safety assessments.
Requirements:
- Technical expertise in steam systems, maintenance practices, and safety management.
- Experience in managing capital projects and budgets effectively.
- Proven ability to conduct training and coaching to upskill technicians and ensure compliance with operational standards.
