Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at NEC Software Solutions as a Customer Service Advisor. As a key member of our Discretionary Welfare Fund team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our contract work via online, telephone, and postal applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process emergency payments and individual assistance grant applications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and process data in a fast-paced office environment, ensuring accurate data recording and compliance with all relevant legislation and criteria.
  • Liaise with applicants to process information into our DAF solution, undertaking eligibility checks and seeking information directly from the applicant where necessary.
  • Comply with our Processing Services Customer Charter when dealing with all incoming and outbound calls.
  • Work as part of the team in achieving targets set by the Service Manager, contributing to the delivery of our contract work and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence relating to Local Welfare Provision, responding to enquiries from clients, citizens, and internal colleagues in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK, with documentary evidence required.
  • Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks.
  • Depending on the nature of the role, a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
