Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Glasgow. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures.
  • To participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
  • Experience working in substantive Consultant positions in the NHS.
  • Strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a PVG check, funded by Priory Hospital Glasgow.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is approximately £123,456 per annum, dependent on experience.
