Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. As a key member of our Occupational Health service, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the mental health of employees, promoting a positive culture of general and mental health and wellbeing, and identifying opportunities for health promotion, education, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor the mental health of employees referred to the service
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and social assessments
  • Provide evidence-based best practice treatments and interventions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive service
  • Promote a positive culture of general and mental health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • NMC level 1 registered mental health nurse (RMN, RNMH, RN3)
  • Relevant or significant post-registration experience at AFC Band 5 (or equivalent)
  • Exemplary communication, assessment, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours: Part-time, 14.8 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Salary: Pro Rata for part-time hours
