Job Description:

Octopus Electric Vehicles is seeking a highly skilled Partnerships Lead to join our team in London. As a key member of our Partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with companies to drive growth and brand recognition for our electric car leasing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Partnerships Development Managers and Executives to deliver exceptional partner experiences and meet performance goals
  • Develop and implement the partner channel strategy aligned with Octopus Electric Vehicles' goals
  • Identify and build long-term, mission-aligned relationships with key partners
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within partners, acting as a senior escalation point
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure team and individual performance
  • Take proactive measures to improve partner growth, retention, and efficiency
  • Manage and report on the team's pipeline for new partnerships and existing partner growth
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams on channel and partner needs

Requirements:
  • Experience leading a high-performing Partnerships team, including defining and executing on the strategic plan
  • Previous success in defining new partnerships models and managing the full partner lifecycle
  • Commercially minded with solid experience negotiating contracts and commercial optimization
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up/scale-up environment
  • Passionate, energetic, and positive leadership style
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and adopt a flexible approach to effecting change and problem-solving
  • Ruthless focus on delivering partner value
  • Superior organizational skills and efficiency
