Senior IT Audit Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Audit Specialist to lead our financial services audit engagement team and provide expert guidance and support.

  • Lead the IT audit engagement team and provide coaching and mentoring to help them reach their full potential.
  • Work in a challenging environment with significant stakeholder interaction.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan that addresses regulatory requirements, provides independent assurance, and offers impactful opinions.
Job Summary:

As a Senior IT Audit Specialist within our Group Functions Technology team, you will play a vital role in providing independent assurance over key applications that support the bank's core functions, including financial crime, core banking, and finance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, efficient, and effective assurance and influencing business managers to improve controls.
  • Leading and coaching your IT audit team to deliver audit engagements on time and within budget.
  • Leveraging audit methodology and tools to drive results.
  • Managing key stakeholders throughout audit engagements, ensuring a good understanding of business risks and open discussion on key risks.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in auditing technology risks and controls, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to assess and prioritize data effectively.
  • Chartered accountancy and/or CISA qualification or similar, and experience of financial reporting and/or financial crime systems from an audit or risk capacity.
  • Data analytics skills, including experience in using Python, are advantageous but not required.
  • The ability to demonstrate leadership in delivering projects while maintaining control over budget, schedule, and quality.
  • A proactive approach towards identifying and promoting talent.
  • The ability to support and supervise a team through coaching, feedback, and development.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
