KPMG-UnitedKingdom is a leading professional services firm that provides audit, tax and advisory services to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Expert Leader to join our General Insurance team in the UK.

**Job Description**

We are looking for an experienced Actuarial Consultant to lead our General Insurance practice in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small teams of advisors and auditors to deliver high-quality services to a wide range of general insurance companies, including FTSE100 and global (re)insurers, smaller specialist insurers, and Lloyd's and London Market entities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a non-Life Actuarial Function or a Non-Life Consultancy with direct UK experience. They should possess knowledge of regulatory regimes / reporting standards (Solvency II, GAAP, IFRS), issues, and products for UK non-life insurers. Strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to deal with clients and senior personnel from day one, are essential.

A strong coaching skillset to develop the capabilities of junior team members is also required. Previous experience gained within a consultancy or the General Insurance industry, but can demonstrate the abilities needed to work supporting senior management efforts to cultivate and maintain target client relationships, including assisting with proposals and the development of sales materials, would be an advantage.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead delivery roles for large-scale projects, managing small teams of advisors and auditors.
  • Develop and implement tailored solutions to meet clients' needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain target client relationships.
  • Assist with proposals and the development of sales materials.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified actuary with experience in a non-Life Actuarial Function or Non-Life Consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory regimes / reporting standards (Solvency II, GAAP, IFRS).
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop junior team members.

**Salary Range**

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
