Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Library Experience Strategist to join our team at Acrlny.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that will oversee the FAS Library Liaison Program, develop learning and engagement opportunities for students and faculty, coordinate outreach and patron experiences, and advance humanities research support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Design, implement, deliver, and assess orientation programs for new arrivals to FAS and the Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS).
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, manage, support, and assess the FAS Library Liaison services program, aiding staff to increase proficiency in areas such as information literacy, learning design, etc.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise up to five staff members.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote practices to support equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and antiracism.
  • Departmental Liaison: Serve as a library liaison to academic departments and programs, as assigned.
  • Community Outreach: Plan, provide, and coordinate outreach and engagement services for a diverse community of learners and library users.
  • Professional Development: Engage in and facilitate professional development opportunities.
  • Scholarship Support: Provide leadership for humanities scholarship.
  • Financial Management: Ensure responsible financial management, tracking expenses, and following Harvard University's financial policies, procedures, and protocols in partnership with HL finance, ensuring accountability and compliance with fiduciary requirements.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and access to training and development opportunities.
