Our Upstream segment focuses on discovering and developing oil and gas reserves, while our Downstream segment refines these resources into valuable products for both domestic and international markets. The Corporate segment provides essential support services to ensure the smooth operation of our entire business.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst to join our Digital Solutions & Data Management Division within the Finance Department. This role will focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance financial processes and drive data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions to automate tasks, streamline processes, and support data-driven insights across various finance functions, including accounting, treasury management, performance analysis, and investor relations.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective AI solutions that meet their needs. Evaluate potential AI use cases within Finance and contribute to their successful implementation.
  • Create and manage machine learning models for financial forecasting, fraud detection, risk assessment, and other critical applications.
  • Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources to ensure data quality and suitability for modeling purposes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to identify new opportunities within Finance and propose innovative pilot projects.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by integrating AI and data science into broader business transformation efforts.
  • Facilitate workshops to document existing processes and drive process improvements with users and consultants.
  • Lead the delivery of key digital initiatives through projects and programs in collaboration with business and technology teams.
  • Maintain, support, and optimize implemented AI solutions to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT from a recognized program; an advanced degree or professional certifications like MBA, CMA, CFA, or CPA are highly desirable.
  • Possess 6-8 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced analytics implementation within financial systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming and relevant libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Have strong UI programming skills, particularly with React.
  • Experience leveraging Google Cloud or Azure Cloud for advanced analytics is a significant advantage.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of AI system implementation in Finance, including benefits, technical evaluation, success factors, and potential project risks.
  • Proven experience in implementing AI solutions by analyzing business requirements, evaluating technical options, and supporting execution processes.
  • Ideally, possess the ability to manage technical solutions hands-on.
