About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Planning Officer/Senior Planning Officer and contribute to the development of our districts. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for implementing development management and planning decision-making, reflecting the nature of the districts and how they function. You will also provide expert advice on all planning and associated matters in committee and appeal settings, representing both councils at a parish and town council level.

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £30,559 to £42,708 per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus a Market Forces Supplement. Additionally, you can enjoy great opportunities for learning and development, generous leave entitlement, and other benefits outlined below.
