We are seeking a dedicated Training and Development Officer to join our team at Sja's West. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in training and development, while making a positive impact on the community.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a generous pension scheme, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) and access to wellbeing tools and volunteer days.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for training and development, who has experience of teaching, coaching, assessing and/or presenting to groups of adults. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, casual workers and volunteers, and will have a commitment to maintaining high standards of training and assessing.

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of training delivery and assessment results.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality training and assessing.
  • Pilot new training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
