3 Days a Week Part Time Administrative Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a Temporary City Centre Reception Team Member to join our team on a 12-week full-time assignment. The successful candidate will work from our city centre department, commencing in January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome visitors to the department and provide assistance as necessary, including directing them to the appropriate area, issuing visitor passes, and dealing with queries.
  2. Maintain the tidiness and organisation of the reception area, ensuring a smart professional image at the first point of contact.
  3. Take incoming phone calls, answer queries, and redirect them appropriately to departmental extensions.
  4. Receive and log deliveries and courier mail, sort outgoing mail for the University messenger, and assist staff in organising couriers as requested.
  5. Support arrangements for conferences, seminars, and meetings, including booking equipment, parking, meeting rooms, and catering.
  6. Issue room keys and book and issue equipment if necessary.
