Job Title: Compliance Engineer

At Briggs Equipment, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team. As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of health and safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of equipment and machinery to identify potential hazards and ensure they are properly maintained and operated.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in health and safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
