Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Briggs Equipment. As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of health and safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety Culture: Develop and maintain a health and safety culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including LOLER and PUWER.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all equipment and facilities meet safety standards, and document and report any findings in a timely manner.
  • Risk Assessment and Safety Awareness: Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain a high level of safety awareness to ensure the well-being of employees and customers.
  • Planning and Organization: Develop and implement effective short, medium, and long-term plans to organize site inspection activities and work allocation to maximize productivity.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel effectively within allocated work areas and nationally if required, upholding the image and standards of the Company through personal presentation and company vehicle condition.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in MHE, FLT, and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
  • Qualifications: Full UK Driving Licence.
