We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment Ltd. As a Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of health and safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adopt and apply a health and safety culture, staying up-to-date with knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures.
  • Make informed decisions and take responsibility for ensuring that all inspections are undertaken to agreed standards, documented, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain good customer relationships, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Travel effectively within allocated work areas and nationally if required, upholding the image and standards of the Company through personal presentation and company vehicle condition.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of working on Materials Handling Equipment or MEWPs.
  • Experience in MHE, FLT experience, and mention LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
  • Experience of effectively managing customer relationships.
  • Significant knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety legislation relating to LOLER and PUWER.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • High levels of IT Literacy.
