Freight Personnel is a leading global logistics provider, operating in the UK and Europe. We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Development Manager to join our team.
Salary:
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to lead our sales efforts in the South East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our business in this area through consistent outdoor presence, structured appointments, and follow-up calls.
The focus of this role will be on promoting our European Groupage services, as well as full and part load options. Key responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring new business by establishing relationships with key decision-makers and identifying new sales opportunities
- Developing and maintaining existing client relationships to ensure portfolio growth and retention
- Collaborating with commercial teams to achieve strategic commercial objectives
- Identifying potential targets and extending information received from each business contact to drive upgrades and added value
- Main Duties: Promoting services within a defined region, establishing a personal sales agenda, managing pipeline reports, and ensuring compliance with company procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A strong track record of achieving sales targets and objectives in the freight industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
