Role Overview
Nextech Group Limited seeks a skilled 1st Line Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support to colleagues, utilizing their expertise in IT Service Desk tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Desk Expertise: Utilize extensive experience with IT Service Desk tools to provide outstanding support to colleagues, both individually and in small groups.
- Security Focus: Leverage deep knowledge of IT/Cyber security practices to identify and address security threats and breaches effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, control, and mitigate operational risks with a strategic approach.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in managing Microsoft Active Directory, Share Point, Exchange Server, and Office 365 (including Microsoft Teams).
- Experienced in MS Windows 10 desktop and application support.
- Skilled in the support and configuration of tablets, laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Competent in using Remote Control Software/VPN and basic network troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Fully qualified to a standard equivalent to a BSc (Hons) degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Full UK Driving License and access to a car for business use.
