Reliability and Maintainability Expert

This role involves working closely with an international team on the design and support of advanced combat air platforms, ensuring high reliability and maintainability of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reliability Analysis: Conduct analysis to optimize system design for ease of maintenance and long-term performance within operational requirements.
  • Collaborative Engineering: Work with engineering teams to enhance reliability capabilities, processes, and tools for a next-generation program.
  • Team Representation: Represent the Supportability Engineering team at technical reviews and project planning events.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to junior engineers in reliability methodologies and processes.
  • Cross-Discipline Alignment: Ensure alignment between reliability engineering, safety standards, and human factors in all reliability analysis activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability principles.
  • Practical experience with tools like FMECA, RMT Allocation, and Reliability-Centred Maintenance.
  • Compliance with international and military standards such as ASD/AIA S-Series Specifications and Def-Stan specifications.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and digital engineering tools.
  • Leadership experience in engineering teams.
