Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires a skilled engineer who can ensure high reliability, maintainability, and testability for complex systems.

You will apply your expertise to influence and support next-generation systems from design to operational phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct RMT analysis to optimize system design for ease of maintenance and long-term performance within operational requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams to enhance RMT capabilities, processes, and tools for a major next-generation program.
  • Represent the Supportability Engineering team at technical reviews, integration activities, and project planning events.
  • Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to junior engineers in RMT methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure alignment between RMT engineering, safety standards, and human factors in all reliability analysis activities.
Requirements
  • Degree or proven experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • Understanding of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability principles.
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques like Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), RMT Allocation, and Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM).
  • Experience with international and military standards such as ASD/AIA S-Series Specifications, MSG-3, and Def-Stan specifications.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and digital engineering tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting engineering teams.
