**Role Description**

We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineering Lead to join our team at Innovate Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Systems Engineering and be able to provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the development of Australia's first nuclear-powered vessel, a monumental project spanning several decades. As a key contributor in the initial design phase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the project's direction, leaving a lasting legacy.

The estimated salary for this position is £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Remote work is available from Cumbria, with occasional travel to the location.

About the Project

  • This is a ground-breaking project that requires expertise in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • You will work closely with systems engineers and domain specialists to define and align on system capabilities.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Systems Engineering, with a strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle.
  • Relevant degree or experience in Automotive, Defence, Telecommunications, or Nuclear sectors.
  • Experience in working on conceptual designs or early-stage proof of concepts.
