About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineering Delivery Specialist to lead our engineering delivery streams and ensure timely and efficient delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for planning the delivery of scope, ensuring that activities are performed in the correct order.
  2. Accountable for defining resource and SQEP demand required to discharge delivery of planned work.
  3. Responsible for managing and resolving localised engineering issues, including defects, key issues, and other concerns.
  4. Responsible for setting relevant sprint goals and overseeing task definition and allocation.
  5. Responsible for managing the delivered product against a specified or agreed AVC baseline.
  6. Accountable for the quality of the delivered product against project standards.

Your Background

  1. Degree in a STEM subject and relevant engineering and team leadership experience.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage a multi-skilled, multi-domain team to deliver complex and integrated software products using agile tools and techniques.
  3. Understanding and experience of working within a large organisation to navigate and leverage existing processes to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Strong organisational and communication skills, with good people skills.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £54,793 - £60,326 per annum. In addition, BAE Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employee share plans, flexible health and wellbeing benefits, and shopping discounts.
